[resolved] w3_get_home_root() not working (8 posts)

  1. Hi Frederick
We're running WP 3.0 with a dev build of W3TC from yesterday (7th July). We're having problems, which are possibly to do with our server configuration. I had a dig, and one part of W3TC that isn't working is the w3_get_home_root() function, as used in w3_is_permalink_rules().

We're just getting a $path of '/.htaccess' i.e. it's looking in the wrong place. Our absolute path looks like /home/d/o/domain.com/public_html/ (server is using apache's virtualdocumentroot). Any ideas?

Can you submit a bug submission form with server access? That's the fastest way to a fix.

Sorry for digging up an old post.

However, I'm having this exact issue on WP 3.0 and W3TC 0.9.1.

Could you include the solution in this post? I could not find any more information beyond this post.

Is it my server settings, plugin settings or do I need to manually modify .htaccess?

    Thanks in advance.

    Some additional information.

Looks like my sites are under the VirtualDocumentRoot as configured in httd.conf

Can you submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin?
