[resolved] W3 and Thesis: Losing Canonicalization to force WWW when W3 is activated (4 posts)

It works when I'm in admin, but as soon as I log out I lose the redirect to www. When I deactivate the W3, my site goes back to redirecting. Any ideas of what I can do? These are default settings causing this on two of my Thesis Theme websites.

    Thank you,
    Eric

Can you paste your .htaccess file here?

I had the same problem. To fix, add at the top of .htaccess BEFORE the w3tc stuff :

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^domain.com [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [L,R=301]

My .htaccess redirects were overwritten by the W3TC plugin.

I've added the redirect back manually into the .htaccess (at the top, inside some comment blocks) so will see if this is maintained.
