W3 Total Cache
[resolved] Using multiple domain names and w3tc (7 posts)

    Hi,

I have a test setup that allows multiple domain names on the same install (No wpms). This means that one post/page/category/etc. etc. can have multiple layouts.

Would this pose a problem to W3tc?

    Regards,
    Joost.

Update: Of course i did not mean multiple layouts, but multiple url's.
On the other hand, it is also nice to know what happens if i programmatically assign a separate theme to each domain. :-)

No, I don't think W3TC can manage this, it can cache requests, but probably not do garbage collection properly.

Ah, just now saw your reply. Thanks.

Would it be theoretically possible to change W3TC so that it stores a cached file per domain?

I'm not sure how it's possible outside of multi-site sorry.

Ok, thanks for the update. I will take a look at your plugin. Maybe there is a way...
