    Hi there

    I just update the versus of W3tc, that's give me some fatal error.
    So I use a backup of the website from my host, (back up before I did the update), I still got the same trouble : ( ! ) Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_start_object_cache() in /wp-settings.php on line 79
    Should I clean the cache of wordpress? if yes where I can do it thrue the FTP, knowing that I have no more access to the website (frontend and backend), I'm a bit lost to putt back the website on line...
    Any help would be welcome.
    thanks in advance

    Benoit

    look in your wp-config.php:
    /** Enable W3 Total Cache **/
    define('WP_CACHE', true); // Added by W3 Total Cache

    set it to false if W3TC isn't installed anymore.

    Did you restore the database as well? Or just the filesystem? Database may need to go back to previous version.

    Finally I find the way :

    1. I delete everything from the plugin : http://www.shoutmeloud.com/how-to-delete-uninstall-w3-total-cache-wordpress-plugin.html
    2.delete everything on the database with the terms W3C
    3. I replace the folder Wp-includs by a new one

    And now that's works!! thanks for your help!
