Server Crashes After Posting (3 posts)

I used WP Cache before and switched to W3 Cache, it's caching stuff alright, but each time I post something my server crashes, basically it forces me to reboot.
I use to have that similar issue with WP Cache before, but only way to fix it was not to rebuild cache after each posting.

    Any suggestions?

Your site seems pretty active, congrats.

I've not seen this problem but then again my sites aren't that busy.

When you post, the cache is then purged and subsequent hits will force the cached versions of the pages to be re-built. Depending on requests and other settings all that might be overpowering your server...maybe. What happens if you just purge your cache? Running mySQL on the same server?

I know on my low powered cloud server if I set the Prime Cache settings to built any more than 10 pages at a time it would crash the server. Part of that is some poor choices by me on the pages that would tax mySQL quite a bit when a non-cached page is loaded but the other part is that depending on your page structure a basic VPS running mySQL and site together isn't hard to overwhelm.

It's hard to guess why that's happening without more information about your server and site. The latest version allows you to control which caches are emptied when posts are updated/published. I recommend using disk enhanced page caching mode if you are not. You may have other settings that are not ideal for your server also. A bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin will help me troubleshoot.
