    I'm noticing this PHP error:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function w3_url_format() in [path]/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Plugin/PgCacheAdmin.php on line 213

I can't seem to discover what particular operation is triggering it yet.

This is a tad ridiculous: the logs of millions of users of this plugin must be filling with these errors, yet the plugin author can't reply to address the issue?

I'd be tempted to place a dummy function for w3_url_format() at the top of:

    wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Plugin/PgCacheAdmin.php

... but I can't be sure the function isn't being called some other way.

    Seeing the same problem:

[14-Oct-2012 19:04:48] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function w3_url_format() in /xxx/xxx/public_html/xxx/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Plugin/PgCacheAdmin.php on line 213
    followed by
[14-Oct-2012 19:21:50] PHP Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0

    repeated endlessly

on further research, this problem has been around for well over a year and has been reported multiple times - I don't understand why it hasn't been fixed in the release code by now, as it appears to have an easy fix, as in an earlier closed (but not acted on) bug report at
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-w3-total-cache-call-to-undefined-function-after-update?replies=3#post-2308798

(the second error in my post above appears to be unrelated)

A big thanks for that, efikim !

And yes, how strange that the bug should still be evident in a plugin which we are assured is still being maintained ...
