• im running my wordpress site on a virtual server. In the php config in the control panel I enabled xcache. When I go to the general settings for the w3t plugin the only options available for page cache are disk and disk enhanced. Why am I not able to choose xcache. Will choosing disk or disk enhanced be ok if my server is a vps? to be exact it is a cloud server running centos 5.6.

Are you sure xcache is properly installed? W3TC checks for opcode caches by issue a “save” command to see if it’s available, if that fails, the option is disabled.
