Need help with "never cache the following pages" (9 posts)

So I have a bunch of 301 redirects that don't work when the pages are cached. So I added the full URL of each 301 redirect into the "never cache the following pages" section under Page cache. Apparently that's not the right way to do it - can someone PLEASE show me what I should add to make it work?

For instance, if I don't want http://mysite.com/affiliate to be cached, I would have entered http://mysite.com/affiliate in the box, but it would still cache the page. Do I need to enter just /affiliate, or something else entirely?

    Thanks!

    Similar question...

I think I need to blog caching of a few pages to get a plugin to work correctly.

My WordPress install is at http://www.casadeblundell.com/jonathan

    I think I need to block http://www.casadeblundell.com/jonathan/tweet-pics/

along with http://www.casadeblundell.com/jonathan/tweet-pics/?image_id=52 and/or any other image_id queries.

    I've tried -

    /jonathan/tweet-pics/
    /jonathan/tweet-pics/?image_id=
    /jonathan/wp-content/plugins/tweetpress/

    and -

    /tweet-pics/
    /tweet-pics/?image_id=
    /wp-content/plugins/tweetpress/

But none of them seem to work. Are these the proper syntax?

If so, perhaps there's something else I need to block caching on.

    Try: /tweet-pics/*

And if you have more than one, do I just enter them one per line, or comma separated?

    thanks,
    Mike

    Simlilar question...

Im trying to block a folder called /members/ and /members/* IS working.

However, it also appears to be blocking everything in the /membership/ directory too which I DON'T want blocked.

I tried adding /membership/* to the exception list, but it did not work.

How can I modify /members/* so that /membership/ is not blocked?

    Thanks!
