Hi Frederick! Got the new version installed on Friday, and it got rid of our openbase_dir problem we were having, which is awesome. We are seeing a new error popping up though and wanted to know if you had any suggestions. Here's the line from our apache error logs:
PHP Warning: mysql_error(): 25 is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /var/www/vhosts/competitor.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Db.php on line 172,

PHP Warning: mysql_error(): 14 is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /var/www/vhosts/competitor.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 786

the mysql_error(): is always the same, but it's either a "14" or a "25"... This error just starting popping up when we upgraded to the newest W3T, so figured it's gotta be related to that, and the db caching in memcache..

Any help is always appreciated !

Can you use the support tab bug report form in the plugin so I can have more info about your server configuration?

done. Can't provide ssh/ftp info just yet. If it comes to that, and you really need it, I can get you that information

Sent it yesterday within 2 minutes of this getting posted... I can try again if you'd like. We have some issues with emails being sent out from there, so it's probably more a sever configuration issue than anything else. Is there any other way to get you the info you need?

Please do, no there's not. Unfortunately, we cannot account for the case where your server cannot send emails.
