    Hi.

    I tried adding files to the list of Minify to be minifed, CSS went off well but when I wanted to add JS files to be minifed. I'am getting a message when I click on any " Save All Settings" Button which is

    "Duplicate Files Have Been Found In Your Minify Settings, Please Check your Settings and Re-Save"

    Iam on W3Total version 0.9.2.4 and on WP 3.2.1

    Kindly suggest.

    If you are sure you haven't added same scripts twice then it encountered an issue. You could try and add and save script by script. Minify does not always work with all JS.
    You could also try the development version. If that does not solve the problem you could submit a bug form submission from the Support page inside the plugin.

    @avil are you sure there are false positives? Are you using multi site?

    I am receiving the same error. Things were fine, then I disabled the minify (it was in manual mode) and tried another plugin (scripts gzip).
    After disabling that one, I have tried to re-enable the minify with my previous settings and now I am getting that error.

    Had similar issue. Workaround is to edit w3-total-cache-config.php

    I removed files listed under array of minify.css.groups and minify.js.groups. FLush all caches.

    I think other workaround would be to reset config... not test!

    @z4reg - I found a few unavailable files listed in the file
    (w3-total-cache-config.php) you mentioned,

    how do we edit it for ex.

    'files' => array(
    0 => 'wp-content/themes/news/js/jquery.tools.min.js',
    1 => 'wp-content/themes/news/js/custom.js',
    ),

    should the above be edited to
    'files' => array( ), ???

    Is there a default file available in the download zip ??

    @Frederick Townes - Iam using a child theme, and even with no files added in the manual method and clicking save settings is also causing the same error.

    I am having the same issue, with 14 JS files in Minify.

    Is there a patch for this?

    I had the same problem yesterday. I changed website template and suddenly minify started to report duplicate files, even with no files listed in the settings page.
    I opened w3-total-cache-config.php and found out it contained files previously present that were all duplicated. I manually deleted them and now have no problem.

    Not quite sure of the cause of this issue. Anyone can feel free to submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin with steps to duplicate.
