    Yes, there are security issues even if you don’t. 🙂 You can change it the permissions temporarily, or you can add deny,allow directives to the file, or you can always update it manually if you rarely change your settings.

    Thanks, Frederick. So the chmod 777 can be set when setting up W3TC and then reset to usual permissions afterward?
