   Just wondering about this because Cloudfront has been costing me much more than I expected. I was hoping for $2/mth not $2/day, lol.

   So in that regard I want to know why on my site, Bourgy.com, my background and logo are linked directly as this:

   http://xxxx.cloudfront.net/wp-content/themes/themename/images/xxx.jpg

   That begs the question, is that link more costly than http://cdn.bourgy.com/wp-content/themes/themename/images/xxx.jpg ?
   Seems the same to me, but I thought I'd ask.

   Also, is there any way I can use W3TC to exclude that altogether and have it not load from Amazon S3?
   Having that load each and every time on the site is surely costing me a penny. (The site averages about 60000 views a day)

   If that file is referred to by your CSS files for example,t hen there's no way to exclude it for now. I suggest only hosting specific files like media library files and also reducing the size of the files you host with your CDN or choosing an provider that is more affordable. Performance is not free... yet.
