[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Install not working, no htaccess modifcation (2 posts)

I have installed W3 Total cache on 3 wordpress blogs on the same server. The first made a huge difference in CPU utilization. The remaining two blogs it appears to have no affect.

One thing I noticed was the working blog has several rules in the htaccess file, neither of the non working blogs have any rules in htaccess. I have tried to remove, reinstall and no effect.

Any idea on how to get these installations to write to htaccess? If that is not the problem, any idea on what is?

Fancy permalinks is required for disk enhanced mode. So enable it and then switch to disk basic (and save) and back to disk enhanced and save again.
