   Referring to http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-does-w3-total-cache-handle-external-images-with-page-caching is there a way to include "external" images from a different subdomain into the cache? These files are obviously from the same server.

   Sorry, there's no support for this scenario. What is it that you're trying to accomplish exactly?

   It's simpel, my graphs (for a statistic tool) are generated dynamically on a different server for a better performance. They are just placed on a different subdomain. That's all ;-)

   W3TC cannot "mirror" or "push" from other domains to a CDN.
