W3 Total Cache
Excluding W3TC files & directories during rsync (2 posts)

I currently have WP setup on a development and production server. All updates & modifications are done on the dev server, then I use rsync to sync up to prod. In order to successfully use W3 Total Cache I need to exclude certain files & directories from the rsync process. Are the following the only files and directories?

    /wp-content/db-config.ini
    /wp-content/w3-total-cache-config.php
    /wp-content/w3tc/

Additionally is there any reason that the advanced-cache.php, db.php, object-cache.php & w3-total-cache-config.php could not be placed under the w3tc directory and then use a rewrite rule if neccessary? It seems to add extra "clutter" to the wp-content directory with all of these W3TC files...

    Thanks.

db-config.ini has nothing to do with W3TC.

Additionally is there any reason that the advanced-cache.php, db.php, object-cache.php

Are drop-ins and must exist in that location. Other files I may consider moving later. Clutter really is irrelevant.
