I really love this plugin. It’s helped the speed of my site tremendously.

Recently I’ve been trying to use the MediaElement.js plugin with the minify from W3TC and it doesn’t work. I think because the first javascript file called in the template then calls to other javascript files within the same plugin directory and therefore it breaks when the first one is moved outside that directory.

So my biggest feature request for this plugin would be the ability to disable minify/combine on specific scripts/files/directories. I know I could do it manually, but the minify works fine on everything else so it would make much more sense for me to tell it what I DON’T want it to do rather than what I do.

Is this a feature that is in the works for a future release? Is there any way I can temporarily make something like this work before that feature is released?

    Thank you!
    Sarah

Have you contacted the author of that plugin and asked them to debug why their code won’t minify successfully? The way to control what files are minfiied is to use manual mode.

I left a post in the forum for the plugin but I haven’t heard back yet.

I did find a way to fix it though so all is good for now…at least until there’s an update. 🙂
