Disable cookies with specific values (4 posts)

    Hello.

I have a cookie which hold the information on which kind of navigation the user wants to see. The cookies is 'isotope-navigation' and it can hold either the value 'active' or 'inactive'.

Since the pages look quite different depending on the choice, I need to disable W3TC for one of those states. How can I do that? I have figured out that putting 'isotope-navigation' in the rejected cookie box turns off caching if that cookie is present, but I have no idea what the syntax is to disable it depending on a cookies value.

    Thanks.

W3TC doesn't look at a cookies value and if i recall correctly the web server cannot process that, there will be a feature coming soon that will allow you to have separate caches by cookie name, but I hadn't considered doing it by cookie value since that's even slower. So as it stands there's not any "fast" (PHP-based caching is slow) caching that can be done for your case without waiting for the next release AND using multiple cookies.

Hi! Is there any progress with caches by cookie name? I'm also very interested in it.

Is there any possibility (before "caches by cookie function" release) to cache pages only if there are no "special" cookies defined?

    Sorry, it's not yet done.
