When I tried deploying preview settings, WP displayed an error stating “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.” This was on a site with WP 3.2.1 and W3TC 0.9.2.4. I disabled all plug-ins but the error persisted. I ended up having to disable preview mode and enable the settings “live”.

If I had to guess, I would say this problem might be related to WP 3.2.X since all other plugins were disabled and I haven’t experienced this problem before using earlier versions of WP. But I can’t say for sure.

  • I’ve never heard of this problem with Preview not deploying – nor have I ever gotten the WP message described. I’m running the versions of WP/W3TC you noted. Since you successfully deployed ‘live’ seems puzzling that Preview mode would be an issue. Have you switched back to preview mode and tried to deploy again?

I got this message tonight. do you have APC caching on your server? I’m wondering if that’s the issue.

Unfortunately I currently don’t have time to do any testing. It seems to be working and I rarely if ever make changes to W3TC settings once deployed. I’ll keep an eye on this in future WP installs.

The deploy button under General will be fixed in next release.
