Hi. I installed the plugin a couple of weeks ago as our site (www.bodhicharya.org) was seeming slower. i must admit, when I saw all the plugin options, I realised I was out of my depth! I'm just not that computer literate.

Anyhow, we started having problems with all our Forum topics giving 404 errors. So, in the process of resolving that with the Simple Press plugin guys, I deactiate W3 Total Cache and then deleted it. As soon as I did, I got the following error:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /var/www/vhosts/new.bodhicharya.org/httpdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

I went and deleted the file it asked and anything else beginning with "W3". But still I can't seem to access the WP admin or do anything at all. The site still functions, but I can't get into the admin. Can you help?

Got it sorted. Had to go into my host account and delete from there. FTP didn't have the right permissions. This is what I deleted:

    Remove:
    wp-content/advanced-cache.php
    wp-content/db.php
    wp-content/w3tc/
    wp-content/w3-total-cache-config.php
    wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/
