Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Caching Post/Page Editor internal pages

  • This problem has been going on a while and I’ve not had time to formally report it.

I have to deactivate the plugin before I write a new post or page due to caching of the post editor pages.

Perhaps I write a title and 20 lines… when I save draft I tend to find I may have my title (or not) and maybe 10 lines or so… cropped off at whatever point it decided to cache. A second save-draft does not sort this out.

The only solution becomes to clear cache between every save draft or deactivate the plugin. The plugin creates serious hassles when trying to change a post scheduled-for date or other minor elements because once they are saved or updated and the page reloads it displays a cached copy back to me which is incorrect.

It may or may not be significant that I am using memcache and cloudflare.

  • I’m really sorry for the trouble. What happens if you temporarily deactivate all other plugins and do your normal publishing workflow. Same issues?
