    What is this process?

    /wp-content/w3tc/min/da1c9d0f.618bd5.js

    233017bytes

They've caused a huge spike in my cpu usage. I can handle themes and the front end stuff, but .js files are a mystery. I probably have a setting wrong. I am on shared hosting with Bluehost. The site has been throttled since Christmas. I've made some progress improving the cpu useage but I cannot figure out how to fix this one.

    See: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/caching-plugins-slow-for-wordpress-33?replies=10

Try a different caching plugin such as WP Super Cache or Quick Cache.
Also try optimizing your sites. See the tips and links listed here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/bluehost-throttling?replies=12

@rughooker, those are the minify cache files. Creating them takes time / resources.

That makes sense! Seems obvious now. Thanks for the reply.
