W-P is a simple (and not too serious) plugin, for its does one thing: fix typical mistypes of the word 'WordPress' in posts and comments. So if you *accidentally* write it as WordPress, or wordpress, or even WoRdPrEsS, it'll set things right.

W-P is dedicated to NuclearMoose, because he's of a mind that everyone needs a plugin like this. ;)

Awwww...gosh...thanks, Kaf. :)
Is it possible to expand the plugin to include other words? Like Nuclearmoose and KafKaeSqui?
If there's a demand, sure. Wouldn't be hard to recode the plugin to run a "fix" on a selection of matches and their proper values.
Would you likee?
I'm interested, but may not dive right in. However, it does seem like a feature that would make W-P a more useful plugin for the general user.
Good point. Although, it was never intended to be *useful*. :)
So, how best to have users add custom text for repairs? Directions on editing the plugin good enough, or would a template tag passing them as arguments work better?
Probably just directions for editing the plugin, with some examples, like WordPress, Kafkaesqui, Firefox, etc.
Release version 1.1 of W-P (unofficially referred to as the macmanx edition :) lets you add custom text to correct/replace. See the update on the plugin's page for more:

Timothy - how about following the link that's given to you right when you click on the site?

This thread is over a year and a half old - he says right on the site he's moved stuff. NOT a big deal, especially since he tells you where they went.
