• With Visual Form Builder, if you make a copy of a form that has utilized the nested feature, you can not add new fields to the copy or move the old fields around. You can edit existing fields only.

I made a bunch of copies of a long form with the hopes of customizing the forms. I got as far as deleting fields that were not applicable in the copies (which was a lot of work), then tried to add some and move old fields around. I couldn’t.

Now I am going back, undoing the nesting in the original long form and making copies of the form to redo my customized forms.

There needs to be a fix to the “locked in” feature of copied forms who’s parent utilized nested fields.

A good feature of the nested field should be the ability to delete the entire nest in a copied form if the nest is not applicable in the customized form. Otherwise some of us will have to un-nest the original form (tons of work), create the copies, and delete dozens of irrelevant fields (also tons of work). This is costing me a day and a half of work.

This is the best form builder there is though because it includes uploads. Other forms are that use drag and drop for field creation to build forms are great because you don’t have to move the newly created field after you create it.
