    Hi,

I noticed that the Chinese translation of this plugin is only partially translated and I would like to assist with a full translation. However, I wasn't able to open the .mo and .po files due a character set mismatch (I think, as all the data appeared as garbage).
In addition, I was wondering if it's possible to remove the map feature. I didn't download the geocity file, as I don't plan to add any maps.
And finally, I was previously using another stat counter, and I was wondering if it's possible to have the plugin to start counting at a particular number.

How to update a translation of Visitor Maps for WordPress
    http://www.fastsecurecontactform.com/update-translation-visitor-maps

    on the settings page
    uncheck Enable geolocation.
uncheck Enable visitor map on Who's Online dashboard
do not put the shortcode in the site

also this plugin is mostey for examining who is online wight now, it is not really a hit counter. Google analytics, webalizer, etc. are good free web tracking statistics tools you might also consider.

    Hi Mike,

I am not looking for an advanced statistics analyzer, just a simple stats counter like your plugin. I have set the plugin to count for 5000 days for long term collection. However, like I mentioned in the previous post, I was wondering if I can add a start counter to the plugin as I'm really swapping this plugin in place of an older plugin and I need to maintain the data.

PS: I have submitted a support ticket to the fastsecurecontactform.com for the updated translations.

At this time, there is no option to set a starting number, sorry.

Thanks for the language files, I just added them

I see, but the issue is that I really need to add a start counter. Can you assist me with writing such a function?
