   Greetings all

   Anyone taken notice in the last 3 weeks that the referer links are mostly garbage URL's or splogs and/or bots. I have been using Mike's awesome plugins for the last year or so and love them but I think someone got hip on finding sites that uses Mike's plugins. I know for example that if I do not turn off the option, anyone can search for the text that comes up in the footer as seen here in google. BTW: display BOTS is turned off

   I guess after saying all of this, is there an exploit that these people found and decided to target this plugin?

   Web servers are constantly being probed for exploits. Having this plugin just made you aware of it. It does not mean your server was targeted because you use the plugin.
