   I have no idea if this is even possible with the YouTube API, but it would be really cool if there was some way to embed a YouTube playlist as more of a gallery, rather than just showing the default video (which requires the user to click the little playlist icon in order to even see that there are other videos available).

   Something that looks more like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jCPiHarvgU&list=PLC62ABB9A775D5617&feature=plpp_play_all or even http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC62ABB9A775D5617 would be really cool.

   Do you have any idea if there's any way to accomplish that sort of appearance/functionality through the YouTube API? If so, do you think it would be possible to add those sorts of options to this plugin?

   No, I'm not aware of any such functionality or if there's a way to get a list of video IDs that are in a playlist (so the gallery can be manually created).
