    Hi there,
I had installed this plugin today. Really is very simple to configure. But I have an small issue. I can not play the mp4 files using the flash option on autohosting video.

    The URL of site is:
http://www.activosenred.com/capacitacion-multinivel-barreras-negocio-multinivel. Here the video don's show. However, directly on URL, you can watch it.

    http://www.activosenred.com/munmi/seminarios/220809/4barreras.mp4

(...and yes I know that this is old, but I have to change all my post where I have videos).
    Thanks

  2. You have a plugin that is turning that URL into a link, i.e. something along the lines of this:

    [flv]<a href="http://...">...</a>[/flv]

That of course breaks my plugin.

Based on the HTML, I'd say some plugin with a name like "pretty-link-keyword" is causing it.

    Hi Viper,
the code on WP is like
    <p style="text-align: center;">[flv]http://www.activosenred.com/munmi/seminarios/220809/4barreras.mp4[/flv]</p>

No conversion from Link to URL. I have Pretty link installed, but not for this types of links.

  4. No conversion from Link to URL. I have Pretty link installed, but not for this types of links.

Trust me, the plugin is doing it. As soon as you deactive it, the video should work perfectly.

    swfobject.embedSWF("http://www.activosenred.com/wp-content/plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/resources/jw-flv-player/player.swf", "vvq-1939-flv-1", "425", "344", "9", vvqexpressinstall, { "wmode": "transparent", "allowfullscreen": "true", "allowscriptacess": "always", "file": "http://www.activosenred.com/<a href=&quot;http://www.activosenred.com/munmii&quot; class=&quot;pretty-link-keyword&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;>munmi</a>/seminarios/220809/4barreras.mp4", "volume": "100", "bufferlength": "15", "skin": "http://www.activosenred.com/wp-content/plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/resources/jw-flv-player/skins/stijl.swf", "image": "http://www.activosenred.com/<a href=&quot;http://www.activosenred.com/munmii&quot; class=&quot;pretty-link-keyword&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;>munmi</a>/seminarios/220809/4barreras.jpg" }, vvqparams, vvqattributes);

Look at the "file" value for example

    http://www.activosenred.com/<a href=&quot;http://www.activosenred.com/munmii&quot; class=&quot;pretty-link-keyword&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;>munmi</a>/seminarios/220809/4barreras.mp4
  5. Hmm, looks like my post got marked as spam or something, so let's try this again.

Trust me, that plugin is breaking my plugin. If you don't believe me, disable it and notice how the video will probably start working perfectly.

This is further backed up by the HTML source of your page and what the video file URL is set to:

    http://www.activosenred.com/<a href=&quot;http://www.activosenred.com/munmii&quot; class=&quot;pretty-link-keyword&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;>munmi</a>/seminarios/220809/4barreras.mp4

    Note the presence of "pretty-link-keyword".

Hi Viper, You have right. I disable it, and the videos work fine, but the curious is that I have more videos with your plugin on mp4, and work without problems. I had the same problem with MaxBlogPress Ninja affiliate plugin, and I change it for Pretty link. At first all work well, but now, it's broken again... :-(

I write to pretty link developers and wait any solution for this issue.
    Thanks

Viper. I'm mantain contact with developer team of pretty link.

The first solution that they give me, is disabling Keyword/URL replacement in Pretty Link and see if that fixes the problem.

I believe that this is not a final solution, but It is a start point.
I will comment to you here for a final answer.

This is what it fixed for me.

Put this in your wordpress .htaccess file

    # Don't compress
    SetEnvIfNoCase Request_URI \.(?:gif|jpe?g|png|mp3|mp4)$ no-gzip dont-vary

    Dear Viper007Bond,

Your plugin is great but i found that the mp4 video plays perfectly in Firefox and Chrome, but not in IE.

    Anyone experience the same? Thanks.
