   I've got a server that shows its listening on 5080 and 1935. I can http://mysite.com:5080
   and get the "This page is used to test..." page. I can log in as the WP admin and have access to the Live Streaming settings. I installed BuddyPress and took all its defaults, setting up a multi-group forum structure.

   At no point in this process was I ever able to find, anywhere in the UI of either the admin or normal users (who are authorized to start their own streams) where I could initiate a video broadcast.

   Now what?

   You need to add the widget to your interface so you can Broadcast Yourself as in the demos.

   Also you need to install the rtmp side on Red5 as explained on http://www.videowhisper.com/?p=RTMP+Applications and configure the rtmp address in plugin settings.
