Is there a way to have HD turned on by default? (4 posts)

Is there a way for HD to be turned on by default when someone watches a VideoPress hosted video? Instead of having the user to click in the top-right (which most seem to not know exists) can we make it show HD by default?

Under settings select media and all the way at the bottom under video property sections there is the checkbox item.

Display higher quality video by default.
(This setting may be overridden for individual videos)

I've just set the media settings to play HD by default. That works fine on the wordpress.com blog. But it hasn't taken effect on my wordpress.org site that i'm using the plugin with. Which is where it's actually needed.
