Maybe its this theme I got, its weird, and I have lots of custom posts types.
I don’t use the embed code either I just use the youtube video code, is this a problem?
It looks like you’re using a commercial theme which means I can’t take a look at the source, but it does seem like it probably has a lot of custom functionality built in.
It does, I even have trouble with 2 related posts plug in. both of them ,lol.
In order to get an orgasm out of that theme everything has to be done manually.
Can’t you just “view source” the source code?
Aside from that,your plug in seems to work only on video where the embed code is used, is that right?
Its refusing to pull images from 1 custom post type, and videos that I import using “Automatic Youtube Video Posts” plug in..

Embed code is not necessary for the thumbnails. Just adding a link to the video page is enough in most cases. Several plugin shortcodes are also supported.
What is your video embedding code or video link like in the post? Is the problem that Video Thumbnails doesn’t retrieve a thumbnail for you, or that your theme doesn’t show the retrieved thumbnail on the website?
