Strange date error (6 posts)

I've an error that I can't track it down, basically every event with a date in August appear in the January timeline (es: 2012/8/2 it will be changed into 2012/1/2 )

I'm using the plugin on a livesite and the timeline is visible here http://www.thepaddlestroke.com/timeline-eventi/ (sorry it's all in italian)
If you give a look to the Json outuput http://www.thepaddlestroke.com/api/timeline/category_posts/?dev=1
you will notice that the date are still corrects, for example one of the most recent event is "Saroccafè" (search for that name or look after the 10-11 line), and the startdate is still correct: "startDate": "2012,08,04"

I think that the culprit is in the Verite master JS (into js/locale/ ) but that script is huge and even with a js beautifier is (for me) not easy to understand...

Can someone give me an hint?

    Thanks,
    Gianni

Same happened to me... I resolve the issue with replacing JS/CSS files with newer versions from TimelineJS class.
    Download from http://timeline.verite.co/

This however has resulted in another error for me. Titles/images in slides of timeline are not shown.

    thanks Hi 9had,

At least I'm not the only one with that problem!
You change the timeline-min.js and timeline.css? I've give it a try but If I replace timeline-min.js the timeline stop to work...

Plugin version of CSS and JS are really outdated, so everything except PHP file needs to be replaced.
As I recall, JS, CSS and Lib folders need to be replaced.

I think, you will need to edit PHP file to include correct JS files, as author has changed the names of the files a bit, as well.

(I don't have access to my FTP at the moment, so this is what I could remember)

    Hey Nihad,

Sorry for the late reply, I want just say that your suggestion worked so thank you!

I've no problem about the image and title, they show correctly in the slide
