I have been banging my head on the wall for two weeks.
I made a Google spreadsheet that is as much like the Google doc template as I could. I used the embed generator to create wordpress shortcode. Then I click Preview. After quickly loading data, it spends the rest of eternity parsing. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try copying that Google doc template and filling it with your info? I think you’ll have success doing it that way. Also, make sure it’s published to the web.

I did, thank you, and it worked, although I am mystified as to what the difference is between mine and the template! Meanwhile, I’m trying out MITs Exhibit Timeline as an alternatibe.
