    Hi All,
I am the webmaster http://www.magnificat-ministry.net, a non-profit religious group with 77 chapters in the US and internationally.
The idea is that we would have a dedicated webpage for each of the 77 chapters that I would put up cookie cutter style and the chapter rep would be in charge of editing and updating and publishing the updated page. The kicker here is that we want the selected page only editable by one or possibly two persons. They would be able to only edit/update, publish to their OWN page, and not any other page. From our site, scroll down the Navigation bar to Chapters, then to Chapter Websites.

I need to know how this can be done especially how to designate the page that could be edited etc would be most helpful. I see the role set ups and capability but not a way to designate the page that can be edited etc by an individual.

Any help that you can give to me is graciously and gratefully appreciated.

    Carolyn Wright

    Hi,
User Role Editor (URE) is just the interface to WordPress user roles/capabilities storage. So you can edit them with URE help. As WordPress has not built-in facilities to grant permissions to users on per page/post basis, URE can not help you with that.
Try other plugin “Role Scoper”. It introduces such additional functionality.
