Hook or filter text for update and remove links (3 posts)

To avoid having the edit the core plugin files, is there a hook or filter to change the text and titles for the "update avatar" and "remove avatar" links?

Otherwise, a settings page with input fields would work.

I think you can change them by adding a language file.... I never try this. But I am guessing that would be the way to do this.

    In user-avatar/user-avatar.php I'm changing this:

Upload and Crop an Image to be Displayed

    ...to this:

Upload and crop an image to be displayed

The random capitalization of nouns and verbs is inconsistent with my website (and the English language mind you). I appreciate that it's probably for emphasis.

I've checked out theme translation and language. It seems like an elaborate work-around to just render two text strings normally in lower case. It's a viable solution nonetheless.

I was considering using CSS until I encountered the following plugin:

It only seems to work on posts though. I'll post back when I eventually apply the language file.
