I know you just updated the plugin with a fix. I used that one to install with. I don’t know if it is some other plugin that might be causing a conflict with this plugin on activation. Just to give you some details, running multi-site wordpress install with buddypress enabled. I didn’t network activate the plugin. Gave these errors:
    1. Warning: include_once(apidata.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory.
    2. Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at plugins/app-your-wordpress-uppsite/uppsite.php:15) in plugins/app-your-wordpress-uppsite/uppsite.php:15) in plugins/mobile-device-redirection/mobile-device-redirection.php on line 26

It maybe the last plugin that there is a conflict with mobile-device redirection. Which is okay, you need to know that it might. I see one person who installed the new version had no issues. I was able to deactivate the plugin with no issues.

I have yet to try to deactivate the other plugin and then try this one again. I will do that an update this thread, just wanted to give you a heads up. I know the plugin is not listed as multi-site or buddypress supported. Hey have to try new things, got to help plugin authors as much as we can. I don’t know if the UppSite website list plugins besides caching that may cause issue, but I guess this one might be one to add. Update again shortly.

Well the last error message with the other plugin went away, just this one left. When you have a chance and could let me know what is causing that would be cool. No rush, will try it out again once all is well. Will check in later, more work to do. Thanks

    Hi,

Could you please refer us by url to “mobile-device redirection”?

Yes I just tired that and still an issue. More details when I activated your plugin.
The plugin generated 610 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice β€œheaders already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
I will be in and out and will try whatever you want or need. Issue won’t stop me from using the plugin once the issues are resolved. Cool plugin. Right now coffee machine is calling me. http://lovemygame.com is the web site I am trying to use it on. It is a free site for video gamers that I am making, more than welcome to signup and create your own blog site, that is if you are a gamer. Is free and always will be, but under construction still. That is why I don’t mind testing plugins for now.

Okay we think that we solved the PHP warning issue. We’re trying to upload our fix (version 1.0.5.2) to WordPress directory, and we’ll notify you when we succeed πŸ™‚

    Cool, it’s been finally updated:

Please tell us if it was installed successfully now…?

I would say you have succeeded. No errors. Tested at http://gtmetrix.com to see if there were any speed issues by adding your plugin, and there are none. No extra weight added to the site load time. Will test later with activating it via network for multi-site and also enable it on one of those sites to see how that works. Thanks again.

We should note that it hasn’t been tested on multi site, so make sure you backup your system – and we’d love it if you inform us of the installation result on it πŸ™‚

Of course we will gladly help if there are any errors…

Always do a backup. I like pushing things to the extreme, so testing for mulit-site is no big deal. Will update later on that.

API Key not saving. API Secret does when I click on saves changes in WordPress. Sorry took so long to get to that step, been very busy,

    (@mysiteapp)

Thanks for the input. That only happened in the multi-site, right?

    Thread Starter luciferdreams

    (@luciferdreams)

On the main site of the multi-site. I didn’t install plugin via network activate, installed it through the main sites normal non network method of activating a plugin.

I normally will not activate a non tested multi-site plugin multi-site wide until I can get it to function on the base site. Installed the latest version that is posted and still the same issue with keeping the API Key.

    Same message comes back:
NOTICE: You need to configure the UppSite plugin first, in order to use it. Please go to the settings page.

If it doesn’t work for a multi-site that is ok, it is a very good plugin. Only thing I would suggest is that if could be added a cool Icon that can be posted on the front of a site, UppSite mobile app ready or something like that.

If you could work in a mobile bar code icon that a plugin user can choose from on UppSite.com when they register that would be cool. Person then could use the barcode for flyers or brouchers mailers, that could also contain in the free version of the barcode a reference to UppSite.com small fee if you choose to go that route would be to remove that link. Business might not want that. You like the Microsoft Tag Barcode stuff that they have. Just a thought

Thank you very much for the input and testing!
I will update the bosses with your suggestion πŸ™‚ And we’ll start work on implementing the multi-site features soon enough.

I am getting a Fatal Error when I try to activate the plugin. Which version of PHP are you using. I have run into some issues like this when 5.3 is being used. I running the latest version of 5.2.

    Thanks!

    Hi esljosh,
Could you start a new thread in this forum and copy the error into it, please?
