I just tried to upload some plugins and now the top of my WP pages has a bunch of gobbledy gook language. I'm not sure if it's a virus or what and I don't see the plugins I tried to upload so I can't delete them. The ones I tried to upload are:
Fast Secure Contact Form, free sales page template (it said it didn't have a header), & wp-ya (I'm not sure what that is).
The language also shows up now on the pages that everyone sees.
Help!
Thanks,
Joyce
what do you mean by gobbledy gook language? can you give us an example?

Ahh I see, no I don't know what is causing it.
Via your cpanel, or via FTP, try renaming all your plugin directory, this should reset those, and that way you can see if it is a plugin that has caused it.
Also speak to your webhosts just in case they can shed any light on why it has happened.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Do I need to rename my plugin directory heading only or every plugin in it as well? I have it hosted through GoDaddy - is that who I need to ask?
I just know enough to be dangerous! LOL
Thanks,
Joyce
If you don't know which ones are activated, rename the plugin directory. If you know which ones are, then rename the individual plugins directory within the main plugins...
wp-content/plugins
or
wp-content/plugins/wp-ya/
But it may also be worth changing themes to Twenty ten to rule out the theme as an issue as well.

I went in and took out the plugins I'd installed and now it's fixed. Thank you!
If you find out which plugin caused, please let us know, just in case other have the same issue.
