Ultimate TinyMCE
[resolved] No buttons in row 4 breaks editor (10 posts)

I would love to use this plugin, but running into a little problem. I only want to add about 10 buttons to the editor for my users. Most are in row 3 by default and 2 buttons are in row 4 by default. If I choose to put those 2 buttons into row 3 (so all the buttons I'm adding are in a single row), the editor doesn't load at all. I just get a blank white box where my content should be -- no buttons, no content. Just the WordPress Visual/HTML tabs at the top. If I go back to the settings and add a button to row 4, it loads again, but I'd really love to get them all on 1 row.

Yeah, you should be able to place them on whatever row you want.

Does the editor work fine until you enable those row 4 buttons? Which buttons are you using from row 4?

I'm using the Table Controls Dropdown Button and the Delete Button. The editor works as long as one of them is activated and in row 4. If I turn them all off or try to move them both to row 3, the editor breaks.

    Weird?!!

Can you tell me what the resolution to this was?

I think it was another plugin causing the issue.

Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins (except Ultimate Tinymce) and MANUALLY emptying and clearing your browser cache? Then going back to see if it works properly?

Damn ... sorry Josh. I don't really know what was causing it. But I have 4 domains with this one host, and I just moved it as a primary domain instead of an add-on domain, and things started working again on all 4 of my WP domains.

Thanks, though ... I usually just run a ccleaner and don't manually delete my cache; lazy way out. Appreciate you taking the time to read my question, and respond -- I'm sure I'll use your advice in the future!
