My site background is dark gray ad my default text color is light yellow.
At times, I color a word or two but if I change my mind later, I can’t find a way to reset that piece of text color to default. Neither through the color picker icon (yours or the default WP one), nor through the Box Styleprops icon. In any case, when I empty the color name field, it has no effect.

The only way is to delete the span code within the html view. It means that the solution exists but I wondered if there was a more convenient way…

Note that coloring the piece of text back to light yellow (same as my default text color) is not an option because when printing a page, that piece of text will be almost invisible (light yellow on white). That problem doesn’t occur with default color: whatever it is, it’s always printed in black.

    Thanks for this great plugin,
    Fran

If I am understanding you correctly, here’s what you need to do:

    1. Click the text that you would like to remove the color.
    2. There is a button called “clear formatting” or something similar. I think it’s in the second row and looks like a little eraser (perhaps).
    3. Click that button, and it should remove the span tag.

Basically, it should do the same thing you were manually doing via html mode.
