Hmmm... it works on my test sites.

What are the details of your installation configuration?

Multsite, single site, subdomain, versions, etc?

    WordPress 3.4.1 standard installation.

Not on a subdomain but it is not installed in parent direction as you will see...

    Plugin version is 2.8

I don't see anything wrong with the interface though so it does not actually appear broken or a bug to worry about too much.

Well, go to the options panel, and under "miscellaneous features" is an option with a dropdown to select a different color style for your editor.

If you choose something other than default and save... do the changes get applied to the content editor?
