• Latest version of plugin drops the special character code when switching from html to visual mode?
e.g. an up arrow “&uarr” (left off the semicolon HERE only) inserted in visual mode becomes a question mark after updating page.
Added in HTML mode it works – unless switching back to visual mode.

I wonder if anyone else has found this – or it’s just something with my installation… or is just a WordPress input filter thing?

    Hi Mike,

I have inserted the up arrow special character, saved my post, published my post, switched back and forth between visual and HTML, and I cannot replicate the problem you are experiencing. I have tried this on my main site, and three of my test sites.

Have you tried using a different browser? What browser do you use by default?
