    I think

    if ($tags_left-- <= 1) {

    would be more appropriate since it still needs to match when $tags_left is one.

    Could you try that and see if it still produces an error?

    Hello,
    I don’t see the difference ‘coding-speaking’ except if $tags_left may be negative, but i don’t think so.
    But i can do it, i know it won’t trigger an error.
