Hi, I set my site into maintenance mode recently, and then I got logged out. Now when I try to login, I am only seeing the maintenance mode active. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a similar problem; activated MM (for the first time) and then logged out to see what it looked like to the world at large and now I can't find a way of logging back in to deactivate the MM!
url is http://www.goldwings.org.uk
Hope someone can help!

Happily I found the answer myself (for my problem) which is to go to:
http://www.goldwings.org/wp-admin/ (rather than just http://www.goldwings.org.uk)
which allows you to log in as normal even if MM is active, then disable MM if you wish.
@avalentine this is because you have another plugin redirecting the wp-admin login page to login-2.

So there is no way to get back into my admin panel?

If you are using a plugin that changes the default login from wp-admin to the frontend of your website you'll need to ftp in and delete one of the two plugins

Congratulations on a great needed plugin. A word of advice, I would suggest not using the wp-admin routine to log in as hackers see this as a doorway.
