hi,
nice plugin, of course, you could write that free version is not customizable at all, except height/width.
you have one slip with video titles. if video title is long enough (two lines in the text box), in the thumbnails title looks cropped (goes behind the border of the video). probably, you could add some popup, or sliding line for title and to display title of the main video too.

I bought the full version of this plug in (ultimate full video gallery) and i must say i´m starting to regret that seriously! There seems to be no support for this plug in at all, no mail i´ve sent (and i´ve sent 4 mails) have been answered.
ok, well.. you can check out the widget in the middle of this page http://www.bjorspjall.is (my webpage) and this page http://bjorspjall.is/?page_id=2797 which shows the gallery i made and how "ugly" it has become because lac of control over the plugin. I would like to be able to show bigger normal thumbnails and the display is in "normal" size.
The paid version of the plug-in has also many issues like, cannot control how big the display is or how big the thumbnail area is (the display and the thumbnail area gets bigger and uglier if i increase the hight), that is, i cannot control how big the thumbnails are so people can see what they are about, they all get mushed together if they get more than 6 rows and 6 columns, which just looks ugly ( as i have video galleries that have about 50 videos per gallery and it just gets smashed together). Another thing, the delete button for each gallery is right beneath the save gallery button, that is just an accident waiting to happen. And there must be an option to edit the name of the gallery as it gets a bit complicated to manage galleries that all have the same names and a number.
These are big problems for a paid plugin, little control. I´m not saying this plug in is bad or ugly, it is very nice, but it needs a BIG overhaul, give more control for the user, specially if the user has paid for the plugin and offer support for it, it is UNACCEPTABLE to sell plugins or other products without any support!
When i´ve added over 10 videos to the gallery, it gets a bit hard to see what video is what as it is all smashed together, maybe this could be solved by having a bigger window where the videos are inserted so they are all in one line, neatly and easier to find.
When a new gallery is made, it would be a good practice to make it in another tab, not in the same window.
The widget has to have the possibility to adjust the display and thumbnails width so the dislpay window in the plug in doesn´t show too small videos.

I have to agree with your post. This plugin, the paid version at least needs more customization options. Definitely not worth the money as is.
Cannot add your own thumbnails for videos hosted in AS3 either.
I thought I was getting more for my money but the way it looks you don't.
Plus autoplay goes on by itself even in the off position in the admin panel for the gallery.
Leave a lot more to be desired

3X3 is a good size, but this of course depends on the website.
I do though have an issue with this plug in, they said they would improve it, but there has nothing bin done, and it´s close to 6 months now since i complained about this plug in. If i didn´t know better, i was right to complain as there isn´t much of a support or development for this plug in.
