   Any chance of this plugin taking advantage of the new wp.me shortlinks that both wordpress.com users and self-hosting users (with the latest WordPress.com Stats Plugin installed)?

   I would actually love the opposite. Would love to see you use the "default permalink" structure in place.

   So for example would be: http://domain.com/?page=28 or http://domain.com/?page=28?attachment_id=289

   That'd be cool.
