Is anyone using this plugin with OAuth still successfully getting their tweets in the sidebar widget and shortcode, or successfully having each tweet converted to a blog post? If so, was there anything more you had to do to get it working (such as contacting Twitter's API devs)?

It's working on my personal site and we've seen it working on many other users sites. Have you tried using Reset Tweet checking under Settings -> Twitter Tools

I get output... tweets from sidebar work, and my new posts go to twitter

No input.... sidebars don't display new tweets, and new tweets don't become digest

Yes, I've tried resetting Tweet Checking and I've tried Update Tweets, over and over and over. I've deactivated the plugin, disconnected and then reconnected the connection to OAuth, deleting the aktwitter database so it's created from scratch. It does nothing. I get no errors, nothing that could even indicate any hints or clues that could help me troubleshoot this problem.

Our testing of Twitter Tools with the Twitter API has shown that Twitter will receive statuses but not always display them in the user timeline. Unfortunately, there is nothing that Twitter Tools or any other Twitter client can do to fix this. We suggest emailing api@twitter.com to let them know that you're having issues.

I don't think your tests will reveal anything because it doesn't happen initially. Like I mentioned before, I created apps twice that would work successfully for a few days, and then suddenly stops functioning without explanation, something your testing may not account for.

I don't fault Crowd Favorites for this though. My gut feeling is Twitter is to blame for these issues... actually they are completely to blame due to their piss poor implementation of OAuth and their absurd USELESS responses to the problems it's generated.

This is bizarre. I went through and deleted the plugin. Wiped everything from the DB, and deleted the twitter app. Went through the entire process of reinstalling again.

So when setup was all done, in the sidebar for my most recent tweets, it had the same tweets as before I wiped, all from 2 weeks ago. Plus it picked up one more recent tweet than it had picked up before it quit. Also from 2 weeks ago. So I was able to get 1 additional tweet. But they are all from 2 weeks ago. So, I'm pretty much still in the same boat......

That is bizarre. I contacted Twitter API support but they saw no errors from their end, nothing to indicate that the app you create to work with the plugin was malfunctioning. Nothing about this makes any sense.

Can someone please tell me how to remove the TwitterAPI login box that keeps coming up on my site? It's driving people away! :-(

Plus I don't have any plugins pointing to Twitter :-(

    Thank you!!
