[Plugin: Twitter News Feed] Auto updates don't work

The autoupdate feature doesn’t work. I have to do the updates manually from inside wordpress. The page always displays the same message below:
…The next update is scheduled for Thursday 1st of January 1970 – 00:00:00
Other than that, the plugin is good.
