   the description for this plugin says that I can embed it into the php templates but it seems the shortcode suggest otherwise and that's only for pages and the sidebar widget.

   can anybody clarify? and this doesn't do it, can someone suggest a twitter plugin that will show my tweets but can be embedded into a php template instead?

   it contains the PHP code you can use to embed directly into your theme
