I set up the post link in the Tweetie 2 Custom area as follows:
http://myblog.com?username=XXX&password=YYY
What am I missing here? Also, this seems kind of non-secure to send the password like that. Hoping this is not the way it’s done.
I also tried:
http://myblog.com/index.php?username=XXX&password=YYY
with no luck. Both give me a “Could not post image” error.
I was wondering this myself. I put in just my blog url at first and it worked 1 time, but hasn’t worked since then
I wanted to use the username/password, otherwise anyone could upload images to my site. I didn’t even try without the user/pass.
To set up Tweetie 2 to work with TweetPress, you just need to type: http://yoururl.com/index.php into the custom image posting field in the settings of Tweetie. Tweetie will automatically add the necessary parameters at the end of this string to post the images.
