   Hi Guys,

   Can someone help me.. I've been using Tweet this successfully until a couple of weeks ago where it seemed to stop shortening URLs for twitter using bit.ly.

   Can anyone shed any light?

   All URL shorteners have become rather sluggish lately. Switch to the local variant (yourdomain.com/p=1234) and you'll be fine.

   or the abliity to add our own url shortener?

   I have yourls installed and this would be a brilliant idea :)
