   Hello,

   As Tumblr have now turned off the v1 API (see first post onhttp://developers.tumblr.com/), the plugin no longer works (authentication page request returns 'not found' error).

   Any plans to add support for v2 API ?.

   It would be a fairly major rewrite to implement the v2 version of their API, so I wouldn't expect it to be fixed anytime soon.

   Understood, but until then it is no longer usable, might be worth mentioning that on the plugin page ?.

   Just chiming in to ask for an update for this. All functionality is lost now and this is the only Tumblr importer out there.

   Ouch, I didn't need this until ... I need it. I had imported 600+ posts just fine a few weeks ago and was thrilled to see that if I imported again, it wouldn't duplicate what I had already done. Now I'm ready for the final import and it doesn't work (for the newest 100 or so). Thanks for any status update ... or a Plan B?

   Please do this soon! We need this plugin as its the only one of its kind...

   Stopping a lot of people from switch to wordpress...

   Workaround that I used:

   Go to each tumbler page and add /rss at the end of each page like so:
   

   http://YOURPAGENAME.tumblr.com/rss
   http://YOURPAGENAME.tumblr.com/page/2/rss
   http://YOURPAGENAME.tumblr.com/page/3/rss

   Save the rss/xml files to your computer.

   Go to Tools > Import > RSS

   Import all the xml files you saved to your computer.

   I had to save and xml for each page so this might be a lot of work if you have hundreds of posts. But at least you can import that first 10 pages until the Tumblr Importer is updated.

   I was having this same problem and finally found a way to do it. You have to export your Tumblr as an XML using an exporter service and then import it to WordPress as a "wordpress" file, NOT a Tumblr file. Here are details I wrote up on how to get it done. Super simple, hope this helps someone.
